Annemarie Rhodes

Annemarie Rhodes, 76, of Benton, Arkansas went to be with our Lord April 7, 2018. She was born October 4, 1941 in Bad Tolz, Germany to the late Johan and Klara Brietwieser Horwath.
Annemarie was a member of the Cornerstone Church of the Nazarene. She volunteered with the Food Pantry ministry of the church and loved her church family with all her heart. Annemarie was an extremely dedicated hard worker at Coors Tec. Spending time with her family was her true-life pleasure. She was always smiling and laughing. Family remembers her as being the best cook ever born.
Annemarie was preceded in death by her parents; husband of forty-six years, Jimmie Rhodes; and grandson, Nathan Ghent.
She leaves to cherish her memory her children: Tammy Ghent and husband Steve of Searcy, Arkansas, Carola Craig of Hernando, Mississippi, Paul Rhodes and wife Karla of Benton, Arkansas, and Bobby Wickliffe of Benton, Arkansas; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; "adopted" daughter, Mary Ann Dunn; brother, Otto; sister, Stusti; best friend for over forty-nine years, Barbara Manus; one very precious yorkie (who she spoiled greatly), Baby Abbie; and a host of family and friends who love Annemarie and will miss her always.
Reception visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 PM, Thursday, April 12, at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street. Celebration of life service, officiated by Rev. Tim Evans, will follow at 2:00 PM, with burial following at Smith-Rosemont Cemetery.
