Billy Glen Strawn, 70, of Benton, Arkansas passed away at his home on November 29, 2015. He was born January 11, 1945 in Stuttgart, Arkansas to Francis Jack Strawn and Gertie Ayers Strawn.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ernest Leroy Strawn, Jack Lecil Strawn, James Tillman Strawn, and Danny Ray Strawn; sister, Mary Frances Strawn Sweeney; and sons, Robert Allan Strawn and Erik Eugene Strawn.
Billy is survived by brother, Allan Strawn of Sherwood; sister, Margaret Wright of Hot Springs; grandchildren, Shaila Strawn of Benton, Tracy Dyer of Gurdon, Robert Strawn, Jr. of Benton, and Erik Strawn of Benton; ten great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and his very special friend, Carolyn Birdsong of Little Rock.
Billy was owner of Strawn Painting Company and was a painter, sheetrock finisher and paper hanger his entire life-skills taught to him by his father.
Billy's passion in life was square dancing and was a caller for Maverick Mixers since 2010. Dance on Bill.
