Carroll Dean Whitfield, 74, of Benton, Arkansas passed away September 12, 2017. He was born January 9, 1943 in Bauxite, Arkansas to William Henry and Mattie Whitfield.
Carrol was a member of Mars Hill Baptist Church. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.
Carroll was preceded in death by his wife, Debra Joyce Whitfield; and his parents.
He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters, Sharla Whitfield and Carolyn Holt; one step-daughter, Debra Ray; one son, William Whitfield; one special son-in-law-who the family gives special thanks-Shane Thornberry; seven grandchildren: Ethan Schiele, Clayton Whitfield, Terra Whitfield, Mickey Robertson, Troy McBee, Danielle Ray, and Michael Ray; two sisters, Betty Ann McAdams and Nelorine Hickman; and a host of family members and friends who love Carroll and will miss him always.
Graveside service held at 1:00 PM, Monday, September 18, at Mars Hill Cemetery in Bauxite.
