Chris Alan Goshien, 41, of Little Rock passed away on January 24, 2017 to be with his Heavenly Father. Chris was born December 22, 1975 to Joel and Amanda Squires in Little Rock. Chris was a loving father, son, brother and uncle. He loved spending time with his family. He loved his two brothers more than anything and was proud to call them "Brothers and Friends". He loved working out at the gym and sports. He was a member of Ironton Baptist Church. Chris is preceded in death by his father, Joel Squires; paternal grandparents, Calvin & Vivian Squires; and maternal grandparents, Ed and Lela Goshien. He is survived by his three children: Amaya, Christopher and Karissa; mother, Amanda Squires of Little Rock; two brothers: Casey Squires of Houston, TX and Colby Squires and wife Sara of Bryant, AR; Fiancé Tamara Freeman and her children, Dejah, Gavin and Raegan all of Hot Springs; four extra special nieces he loved as his own with a host of other loving family members and friends. Chris will be best remembered by his loving heart and he never left without saying how much he loved you. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. Reception visitation will be held Saturday, January 28, 2017 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market St., Benton, Arkansas 72015. Funeral will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, January 30, 2017 at Ironton Baptist Church, 14718 Ironton Cutoff, Little Rock. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Chris's honor to Sober Living, Inc., 4201 John Barrow Rd., Little Rock, AR 72204. Services entrusted to Smith-Benton Funeral Home.
