Horace Glynn Morris, 78, of Bryant, Arkansas, formerly of Las Vegas, Nevada, returned to his heavenly home on February 10, 2017.
Glynn was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on July 13, 1938, and graduated from Taylor High School in 1957. He served in the U.S. Air Force. He worked as a store manager for A&P, an independent insurance agent, and was a Pentecostal minister. He was also a 32nd degree Mason.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Artie B. and Dean Morris, step-dad Burnice Dees; two sisters, Nelda Emerson and Shirley Woodard.
Glynn is survived by his wife, Tina; six children, Rickey Morris and his wife, Anamari of Farmerville, Louisiana, Billy Fowler and his wife, Susie of Bryant, Arkansas, Terry Morris and his wife, Stacey of Farmerville, Louisiana, Scott Key and his wife Terry of Farmerville, Louisiana, Deborah Wray and her husband, Jay of Benton, Arkansas, and Steve Morris and his wife, Susan of Houghton, Louisiana; one sister, Jan Rabb and her husband Glen of Emerson, Arkansas; seventeen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM, Tuesday, February 14th at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market St., Benton, Arkansas. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 15th at First Church of the Nazarene with pastor Brady Lane, officiating.
