Hugh Cruse
Hugh Purvis Cruse, 85, of Benton, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2015 on his 59th wedding anniversary to his loving wife, Doris. He was born to Pearl and Purvis Cruse in Brookland, AR on August 5, 1929.
Mr. Cruse graduated from Hot Springs High School in 1948. He served in the U.S. Navy and retired from Reynolds Metals and Alcoa. Mr. Cruse enjoyed hunting, fishing, and loved the outdoors.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Jean Garner Cruse; three children, Karen Cruse Story, Gina Cruse Elliott, and Jonathan Hugh Cruse; four grandchildren, Mollie Rozell Elliott, Melissa Jane Elliott, Marilee Ann Elliott, and Griffin Rider Cruse; as well as many other family members and friends that will miss him dearly.
Reception Visitation is Monday, May 18th, 2015, 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market St. Benton, AR 72015. Private interment at Pinecrest Cemetery at a later date. Online guestbook: www.SmithFamilyCares.com.
