Jimmy Curtis Rainwater, Sr., 74, of Bauxite, Arkansas passed away September 26, 2017. He was born June 20, 1943 to the late George and Nina (Waters) Rainwater.
Jimmy proudly served in the United States Navy. He was stationed during the Vietnam era in New Zealand and Antartica. Jimmy loved to fish. Prior to becoming ill, he was always going "ninety to nothing". Jimmy retired from EXIDE Manufacturing.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his wife of almost fifty years, Martha Rainwater; and his parents.
He leaves to cherish his memory his son, Jimmy Curtis and wife Karen of Fort Walton Beach, Florida; daughter, Deborah Richey and husband John of Bauxite, Arkansas; eight grandchildren: Adam Winegar and wife Sarah, Aaron Winegar and wife Jen, Austin Winegar, Kaley Ackley, Brittany Rainwater, Emily Bodiker and husband Rustin, Katelyn Pelkey and husband Dustin, and Sarah Richey; nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Katie and Margaret; and a host of family members and friends who love Jimmy and will miss him always.
