Max D Norwood (Pops), 73, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away October 16th, 2014 after fighting a long battle with cancer. He was born April 30th, 1941 in Malvern, AR to the late Mildred Draper Norwood. Max loved fishing and spending time with his family.
Max was preceded in death by his mother, Mildred; one sister, Susie: three brothers, Charles, Cecil, and Jerry all of Malvern.
Max is survived by one sister, Nancy Odell of Hughes Springs, Texas; three brothers, Bill of Friendship, Earl of Sheridan, and Donnie Ray of Malvern; one daughter, Trena Norwood Davis of Bryant, AR; one son, David Norwood and wife Misty of St. Peters, Missouri; 5 grandchildren, Nicholas Long of Medford, Oregon, Amber and Michael Davis Jr. of Bryant, Jennifer and Kristina Norwood of St. Peters; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
The family would like to thank all the family and friends who have been by our side in the last few weeks of our father's journey. They made sure that we were taken care of and had everything we needed to make our last few weeks special with him.
