Our sweet, precious love, Phoenix James-Christopher Benton was received by his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, October 8, 2014.
Phoenix is preceded in death by his big brothers, Isaac and Gabriel; and grandfather, Walter Benton.
He is survived by mommy, Lee; daddy, Clay; big sister, Julia; big brothers, Kaeleb, Dominic, and Beau; grandmothers, Jerri Lee Sharp and Annette Benton; as well as many aunts, uncles, and extended family.
During times like these, Phoenix's family finds comfort in 2 Corinthians 12:9 which states, "But He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me."
Funeral service, officiated by Pastor Pat Dezort, will be held Monday, October 13th, 2014, 11:30 A.M. at Centerpoint Church, 20383 Interstate 30, Benton, AR 72015. Burial to follow at Traskwood Cemetery. Arrangements by Smith
