Wanda "Faye" Lavender, 80, of Bryant, Arkansas passed away August 24, 2017. She was born April 25, 1937 in Rosston, Arkansas to the late Calvin and Ola Wicker Jetton.
Faye retired from Saline Memorial Hospital where she worked as a respiratory therapist. Her co-workers affectionately called her "Granny". Faye leaves to cherish her memory: Nancy Kay Ball and husband David of Houston, Texas; Michael Lavender and wife Nancy of Lake Village, Arkansas; Terrie Dick and husband Tony of Bauxite, Arkansas; Robert Lavender and wife Melissa of Bryant, Arkansas; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and one great- grandchild on the way; one great-great grandson; and a host of extended family members and friends who love Faye and will miss her always.
Memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, September 2, 2017 at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market St., Benton, Arkansas, with reception visitation following.
