Diana Fleming

Diana Lynn Fleming, 62, of Benton, Arkansas passed away September 2, 2018. She was born August 2, 1956 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Erple Fay and Willie Marie (Knowlton) Russell.
Diana worked as a dispatcher at Benton SCAT. Diana always thought of others before herself. She was a LPTN and cared for her patients with tenderness and compassion. Family affectionately called her "Doctor Diana" as they often called her for medical advice. Diana was the family photographer and had her camera ready at all times. She loved celebrating the holidays throughout the year, but Christmas was her favorite. Diana helped her family by becoming their family chauffer-taking them to school, dentist and doctor appointments, or other events. Diana had a vast collection of Coca Cola memorabilia that family contributed to over the years. She was very fond of dogs. Her willingness to give to others and her unconditional love was cherished and will be missed.
Diana was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers: Terry Russell and Perry Russell.
She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Adrian Fleming of Benton; sister, Opal Campbell of Benton; nieces: Brandi Collins and husband Jonathan of Dardanelle, Arkansas, Daniell Weatherford and husband Tyler of Melbourne, Arkansas, Kelli Campbell of Bryant, Arkansas, Tara Webb and husband Ricky of Benton, and Ashley Russell of Malvern, Arkansas; nephews: Brian Campbell of Jacksonville, Arkansas, Terry Russell and wife Andrea of Mabelvale, Arkansas, and Mycheal Russell and wife Jessica of Malvern, Arkansas, seven great-nephews; two great-nieces; two sisters-in-law: Patricia Russell of Alexander, Arkansas and Sherry Russell of Malvern, Arkansas; step-son, Ricky Fleming, Jr. and wife Georgie of Monticello, Arkansas; and a host of family and friends who love Diana and will miss her always.
