Gary Boardman

Gary Wayne Boardman, 50, of Little Rock, passed away July 16, 2018. He was born July 19, 1967 in Springdale, Arkansas to Milton and Wanda Boardman.

Gary was a graduate of Bryant High School. He worked as a truck driver and mechanic. Gary was of the Baptist faith. He adored his grandchildren, Aden and A'Leah and spending time with his family. Gary enjoyed being outdoors fishing, mudding on his four-wheeler, and mowing his yard on his riding lawnmower.

He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Ashley Smith (Adam) and Tyler Boardman (Jennifer); grandchildren, Aden and Aleah; mother, Wanda Boardman; father, Milton "Buddy" Boardman; three sisters, Debbie Buckles, Vanessa Summerhill (Paul) and Roxie Parker (Ronnie); brother, Kenny Boardman (Lisa); and a host of family and friends who love Gary and will miss him always.

He is preceded in death by his step mom, Patsy Boardman.

Reception visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM, Friday, July 20 at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market St., Benton, Arkansas. Funeral service, officiated by Pastor Josh Smith, will follow at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
