Howard Smoke

Howard Larry Smoke passed away in his home on October 19, 2018 in Benton, AR at the age of 70.
Howard was born on November 5, 1947 in Magnet Cove, AR to Raymond and Alice Smoke. He graduated from Henderson State University with a Bachelor's of Science in Education. He taught math and science for the Hot Springs School District for 3 years then began working as a book salesman for D.C. Heath and later for Macmillan/McGraw Hill publishing company where he retired after 25 years of service. Howard loved the outdoors, watching westerns, and meeting people.
Howard is survived by his son, Barry Smoke (Michelle) and daughter, Beverly Robinson (Perry), six grandchildren, Katelyn Reisma (Mark), Jordan, Bradley and Max Smoke, and Marcus and Jayden Robinson, four great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Layna, McKenzie and Maya, all of Benton, AR, and sister, Helen Ball (Wayne) of Hot Springs, one nephew, Steve Smoke of Daytona Beach, FL and one niece, Julie Patrick (Jeff) of Richmond, VA. Howard was preceded in death by his father and mother, Raymond and Alice Smoke, and brother, David Smoke.
Private services will be held by family.
