Iola Smith
Iola Mae Smith, 99, of Bismarck, Arkansas passed away September 10, 2017. She was born August 24, 1918 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Clarence V. Howard and Netha M. Sneller Walker Howard.
Iola was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis "C.M." Smith and her parents.
She leaves to cherish her memories her son, Millard Smith and wife Janie of Little Rock; two daughters, Becky Graves and husband Butch of Bismarck, Arkansas and Kathy Bogan and husband Jeff of Cabot, Arkansas; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; two brothers, Abner Howard of East End, Arkansas and Bill Howard of Oregon; and a host of family members and friends who loved Iola and will miss her always.
Visitation held from 6:00-8:00 PM, Tuesday, September 12, at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street, Benton. Funeral service, officiated by Rev. Shannon Gattis, will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, September 13 at Ivy Chapel Christian Church, 706 Ivy Chapel Road, Little Rock with burial following.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ivy Chapel Christian Church.
