Jewell Ford

Jewell F. Ford, 71, of Mabelvale, Arkansas passed away July 31, 2019. He was born January 17, 1948 in Memphis, Tennessee to the late Edward Burr and Elta Marie (Story) Ford.
Jewell dearly loved spending time with his family and friends. He never met a stranger. Jewell was a talented musician with a beautiful voice and had a gift where he could play any instrument he picked up. Jewell loved to see people laugh and became the family comedian, telling jokes all the time. He had a way of turning a bad day into a good day. Jewell was very active and enjoyed horseshoes, horse races, dominoes, playing pool, bowling in leagues, and playing Zelda video games with his wife. He also spent time outdoors fishing, playing golf and rabbit hunting. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend and he will be forever in our hearts. He lived every moment, laughed every day, and loved beyond words.
Jewell leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of thirty-four years, Deborah Ford of Mabelvale, Arkansas; children: John Glenn Ford and his wife Tammy of Porter, Texas, Stacie Wilson and husband Miles of Haskell, Arkansas, Brian Ford and wife Kathy of Little Rock, Arkansas, Amber Trammell and her companion Robert Garcia of Mabelvale, Arkansas, Andrea Scruggs and husband Michael of Mabelvale, Arkansas, Amanda Trammell of Monticello, Arkansas, and Savannah Barnard and her husband Teddy of Haskell, Arkansas; seventeen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; brother, John Ford and his wife Judy of Hughes, Arkansas; sisters: Helen Bowers of Birmingham, Alabama, Ginny Dutchik and her husband Bob of North Little Rock, Arkansas, and Marie Vickers of Brickeys, Arkansas; special aunt, Geneva Phillips of Memphis, Tennessee; and a host of family and friends who love Jewell and will miss him always.
