Jo Heinz

Jo Katherine Heinz, 83, of Benton, Arkansas went to be with our Lord on February 16, 2018. She was born August 20, 1934 in Collinsville, Mississippi to the late James Bryant and Pearl (Gibson) Ezell.
Jo was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and veteran.
She proudly served in the United States Navy in which she earned the National Defense Service Medal for her service during the Korean War.
Jo was a member of Spring Creek Baptist Church. She loved the Lord with all her heart and served him by caring for others. She taught her family to always look for the best in everyone-regardless of any past mistakes they may have made. At both New Life Baptist Church and Spring Creek Baptist Church, Jo would send cards of encouragement to fellow Sunday School members who had missed attending class, were sick, had a loved one pass away, for birthday blessings, or just to cheer them up.
Jo and her husband enjoyed going camping and spending time with their family.
Jo was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and seven sisters.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of sixty-four years, Donald Heinz of Benton, Arkansas; children: Mary Jo Lee and husband Brad of Collinsville, Mississippi, Judy Ann Parrow and husband Roger of Fargo, North Dakota, Ronald Heinz and wife Jo Ann of Alexander, Arkansas, Mark Allen Heinz of Alexander, Arkansas, and Stephanie Althoff and husband Jon of Pinehurst, North Carolina; eighteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren (with one on the way); sister-in-law, Leola Ezell Jones of Meridian, Mississippi; brother-in-law, Eddie Bishop; and a host of family and friends who love Jo and will miss her always.
