Jo Beth Hudgens, 66, of Little Rock, Arkansas went to be with the Lord August 5, 2019. She was born July 5, 1953 in Monticello, Arkansas to the late Robert Ben and Jo Ann (Meek) McDaniel.
Jo Beth worked as a teacher's aide. She was a member of Sardis United Methodist Church. Family was Jo Beth's greatest joy. She loved attending family get-togethers and her grandchildren's softball and basketball games, and spending time with her "grandgirls". Jo Beth was given the nick-name of "Go Jo" as she enjoyed travelling, especially to Disney World. Music was special to Jo Beth with Elvis Presley and Andy Childs being her favorite recording artists.
Preceding Jo Beth in death are her parents; brother, Robert Alan McDaniel; nephew, Caleb McDaniel; son-in-law, Brad Harrell; and brother-in-law, Donald "Donny" Farley.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children: Shea Harrell of Little Rock, Arkansas and Dr. Joseph "Jay" Hudgens and wife Marlana of Virginia Beach, Virginia; grandchildren: Bethany Harrell, Austin Harrell, Hanya Hudgens, Margaret "Maggie" Hudgens, and Stella Hudgens; siblings: Roland McDaniel and wife Hope of Alexander, Arkansas, Darrell McDaniel and wife LeeAnn of Monticello, Arkansas, Risia Farley of Monticello, Arkansas, Phillip McDaniel and wife Lori of Monticello, Arkansas, David McDaniel and wife Nita of Monticello, Arkansas, Peggy Byrd and husband Jeff of Mabelvale, Arkansas, Art McDaniel of Sheridan, Arkansas, and Kristi Moseley and husband Mike of Monticello, Arkansas; sister-in-law, Leigh McDaniel; numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews who she loved dearly; and many family members and friends who love Jo Beth and will miss her always.
Memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, August 9 at Sardis United Methodist Church, 10715 W. Sardis Road, Bauxite, Arkansas. Visitation will follow the service.
