John Laxton

John "Papa John" Laxton, age 75, ascended to be with Jesus on Tuesday, September 10, 2019. John was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Ruth Laxton of Springdale, AR.

He will be missed greatly by his wife of 55 years, Judy Laxton of Alexander, AR; daughter Gina Laxton Buffington and her husband, Louis Buffington of Richardson, TX; son John Laxton Jr. of Redfield, AR; grandchildren, Aaron and wife BethAnne, Emily and Erica Buffington; and great granddaughters Emma Grace and Abby Rose Buffington.

Friends are invited to join the family at a memorial service for John on Friday, September 13th at 12:00 pm held at the Smith- Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market St. in Benton AR.
