Larry Wayne Goshien, 77, of Mabelvale, Arkansas passed away February 19, 2020. He was born December 18, 1942 in Little Rock to the late Edward and Lela (Sory) Goshien.
Larry never met a stranger. He enjoyed visiting with anyone, anywhere. His family was so special to him and he attended every sporting event his grandchildren were participating in. His grandchildren and all their friends affectionately called him "Pops." Larry was gifted in pencil drawings and paintings. His works of perfection are cherished by family and friends.
Preceding Larry in death are his parents and brother, Bobby Goshien.
He left to cherish his memory his loving wife of fifty-seven years, Mary Goshien of Mabelvale, Arkansas; two sons: Price Goshien and husband Gary Smith of Dallas, Texas and Clint Goshien and wife Lezley of Benton, Arkansas; grandchildren: Clay Goshien and wife Mindy, Hannah Goshien, and Connor Goshien and wife Mika; great-granddaughter, Charli P. Goshien; siblings: Jerry Goshien and wife Carolyn, Ronnie Goshien, Mike Goshien and wife Mary Jo, Roy Goshien and wife Patti, Cynthia Dixon, Amanda Squires, Suzanne Johnson, and Betsy Horton and husband Gene; sister-in-law, Marie Goshien; and many family members and friends who love Larry and will miss him always.
Visitation will be held 5:00 - 7:00 PM, Thursday, February 20, at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street, Benton, Arkansas. Graveside service, officiated by Bro. Michael Deerman, will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, February 21, at Forest Hills Cemetery in Alexander, Arkansas.
