Louis Raymond Bradshaw, 80, of Alexander, Arkansas went to be with his Lord August 28, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. Louis was born January 31, 1939 in Alexander, Arkansas to the late Louis R. and Minnie Aurelia (Norman) Bradshaw.
Louis proudly served in the United States Army. He retired from the State of Arkansas as a supply warehouse supervisor. Louis held God, family, friends and music close to his heart. Louis was a licensed minister and started mission works in San Jose, California and Paramount, California. He was honored to marry his children, grandchildren and many others. He had a huge heart, loving nature and never met a stranger. Many friends to the family affectionately called him "Dad", "Uncle" or "Papaw" as he loved them as his own family. Louis loved to play the guitar and sing. He was a square dance caller for over twenty years. Louis also enjoyed spending time outdoors with his family camping and fishing. He was a wonderful husband, father, brother and friend.
Preceding Louis in death are his parents; grandson, Michael Kellum; and brother, Doug Bradshaw.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of sixty-one years, Shirley Bradshaw of Alexander, Arkansas; children: Terry Kellum and husband Keith of Alexander, Ray Bradshaw and wife Shawna of Alexander, and Kenny Bradshaw and wife Angie of Gurdon, Arkansas; eight grandchildren: Krista Grafe and husband Bryan, Zachary Kellum and wife Ana, Kimberlie Jeffers and husband Joe, Kristopher Bradshaw and wife Jessica, Kevan Bradshaw and wife Olivia, Brandon Bradshaw and wife Ashley, Kody Bradshaw, and Peyton Bradshaw; twenty-one great-grandchildren; brother, Bill Bradshaw and wife Sylvia of Schiesheim, Germany; sister, Angie Stewart and husband Jerry of Hot Springs, Arkansas; and many family members and friends who love Louis and will miss him always.
Memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, September 7, at First United Methodist Church in Bryant, Arkansas.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
