Martha Ann "Marti" Shetron-Parsons, 57, of Alexander, Arkansas passed away January 22, 2020 following a brave battle with cancer. She was born August 28, 1962 in Yonkers, New York to John and Gene (See) Shetron, Jr.
Marti worked as a manager at Walgreens. She enjoyed being outdoors sailing, gardening, and bird watching. Decorating for Christmas was the highlight of the year. Marty also liked to begin each morning with a cup of coffee and loved listening to music. Her family was dear to her heart and she loved spending time with them.
Marti was preceded in death by her father, John Shetron, Jr.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Bobby Nathan Parsons, Jr.; daughters: Renee Nicole Phillips and Jessica Ann Cherry; mother, Gene See; grandsons, John Major and Thomas Phillips; sister, Sarah "Sally" Fry; brother, John Shetron; and many family members and friends who love Marti and will miss her always.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 25, with visitation held one hour prior to service at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street, Benton, Arkansas.
