Mary Ann Andries, 82, of Benton, Arkansas went to be with her Lord January 13, 2020. She was born September 19, 1937 in Union County, Arkansas to the late John and Mary Tennie (Smith) Mitchell.
Mary was a devout Christian and raised her family in a loving Christian environment. She was the youngest of sixteen children, and cherished spending time with her family. Mary was one of the sweetest ladies ever and considered everyone as part of her family. She had a huge heart and was devoted to her family and friends. Mary was a talented seamstress and created beautiful clothes for her daughters to wear.
Preceding Mary in death are her husband, Ronald Andries; parents, John and Mary Tennie (Smith) Mitchell; son, Scott Andries; and siblings: Eunice Jordan, Elsie Mitchem, Altha Jordan, Carlton Mitchell, Mildred Mitchell, Elmer Mitchell, Leona Haltom, Leonard Mitchell, Bruce Mitchell, Tennessee Mitchell, Morgan Mitchell, Marion Mitchell, Betty Jean Mitchell and Billy Joe Mitchell.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory two daughters: Kim Shannon and husband Mark of East End, Arkansas; grandchildren: Ashley and Jeremy; great-grandchildren: Bryce, Jackson, Tatum and Cooper; and Larhonda Blair and husband David of Glen Rose, Arkansas; grandchildren: Hunter Blair and Ashley Glenn; great-granddaughter, Anastasia; brother, James Mitchell and his wife Ohma of Benton, Arkansas; sister-in-law, Margaret Mitchell of Benton, Arkansas; 32 nieces and nephews; host of great-nieces and nephews, and friends who love Mary and will miss her always.
Family to hold a memorial gathering Thursday, January 16 at the home of Mark and Kim Shannon in East End. Graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, January 17 at Silver Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery in Mt. Holly, Arkansas.
