Roland Gentry
Roland F. Gentry, 90, of Lonsdale, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on November 28, 2018. He was born December 2, 1927 in Slocomb, Arkansas to the late Marshal Forrest and Della Shelton Gentry.
Roland was a member of Ten Mile Missionary Baptist Church. He was also a member of Ten Mile Hunting Club. Roland retired from Arkansas Mental Health Services in Benton, Arkansas.
Roland was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Robert B. Gentry; two sisters: Pauline Harris and Vivian Brooks; two nieces: Sondra Brown and Gail Young; and a nephew, Gene Brooks.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of seventy years, Hazel Gentry; daughter, Linda Barnett and husband Shelby; granddaughter, Kaitlyn Eubanks; and a host of extended family members and friends who love Roland and will miss him always.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, December 3 at Ten Mile Missionary Baptist Church with visitation held one hour prior to service. Burial following at Ten Mile Cemetery with David Houpt, Karl Houpt, Derek Houpt, Tim Barnett, Brad Barnett, and Josh Asbury assisting as pallbearers.
