Royce Dean Tittle, 64, Haskell, Arkansas passed away May 16, 2018. He was born February 6, 1954 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Royce and Betty (Thomas) Tittle.
Royce retired from the Department of Corrections. He was a member and served on the board of Saline County Moose Lodge #2567. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the Highway 128 Hunting Club. Royce was a knife enthusiast and collected knives of all kinds-even if he had 50 of the same one. Royce loved his children and spending time with them. He was a huge John Wayne fan and proudly displayed his velvet John Wayne picture in his shop. Riding motorcycles, tinkering with tools in his shop, woodworking, and watching western movies were his favorite hobbies.
Royce was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Susie Patrick.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of twenty-six years, Lavern Tittle of Haskell, Arkansas; two sons: Mark Tittle and wife Amanda of Hot Springs, Arkansas and Nick Tittle and his girlfriend Kimberly Luckey of Malvern, Arkansas; daughter, Cindy Jacobsen and husband Shane of Pittsburg, Texas; step-daughter, Jenni Pittman of Benton, Arkansas; eight grandchildren: Taylor Green, Jacob Green, Race Tittle, Makenzie Pittman, Brady Green, Lane Pittman, Chace Tittle, and Mason Tittle; five step-grandchildren: Jacob Davis, Kayla Davis, Savannah Davis, Tristan Jacobsen, and Draven Welch; sister, Vickie Nordin of Bartlett, Tennessee; step-brother, Sam Hoffman and wife Martha of Benton, Arkansas; and a host of family and friends who love Royce and will miss him always.
Reception visitation held 5:00-7:00 PM, Friday, May 18 at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street, Benton. Funeral service, officiated by Rev. Jim Whitley, at 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 19 at Smith-Benton Funeral Home.
