Stephen Swaja

Stephen Dale Swaja, 79, of Conway, Arkansas passed away January 16, 2018. He was born December 31, 1938 in DeMoines, Iowa to the late Thomas and Ruth Turner Swaja.
Stephen was of the Catholic faith. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp. Stephen was a very accomplished artist. Stephen leaves to cherish his memory his children: Mark Johnson and wife Tania of Benton, Arkansas, Michael Swaja of Long Beach, Mississippi, and Brian Swaja of Sherwood, Arkansas; Darlene; ten grandchildren: Shane, Blake, Luke, Jasmine, Sydney, Sage, Ryan, Kalynn, Kaliyah, and Roman; two sisters; extended-children he loved as his own: Ididia Serfaty and Desiree Serfaty; and a host of family and friends who love Stephen and will miss him always.
Memorial service held at 9:00 AM, Friday, January 26, at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market St., Benton, Arkansas, with inurnment following at 11:00 AM at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
