Veda Sims
Veda Lee Sims, 81, of Benton, Arkansas passed away October 26, 2019. She was born May 12, 1938 in Guion, Arkansas to the late Delbert and Myrtle (Langston) Williams.
Veda worked sacrificially to provide for her family as a certified nursing assistant, dental assistant, childcare provider, fitness instructor, and beautician. When she was younger, she was a talented seamstress and made her own clothes. Veda enjoyed traveling and spent time in Germany when her husband served in the military.
Preceding Veda in death are her parents; and brother-in-law, Don Crowson.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son; Troy Sims of Benton, Arkansas; grandchildren: Jacob Sims and Savanna Sims of Benton, Arkansas; sisters: Dean Crowson of Benton, Roby Fish and husband Carl of New Mexico, and Delberta Geiger and husband Frank of Sydney, Arkansas; brother, Dennis Williams and wife Gail of Melbourne, Arkansas; and many more family members and friends who love Veda and will miss her always.
Per Veda's request, family will hold private services.
