Vester Allen
Vester Allen, Jr. was born May 5, 1942 in Widener, Arkansas to the late Vester Sr. and Vera Allen. He departed his life March 26, 2019 surrounded by his loved ones.
Vester gave his life to Christ at an early age and later joined St. Paul Baptist Church.
On October 1, 1960, he married Arleatha Jordan and to this union five daughters were born. He worked at Spivey's Auto Dealership then went on to work as a heavy equipment operator.
Vester leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Arleatha Allen; five daughters: Leatha Credit and husband Antonio, Paulette Allen, Belinda Madison, Tina Pharoah, and Toni Allen all of Benton, Arkansas; eleven grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Settle D. Allen of Little Rock, Arkansas; four sisters: Erma Allen of Chicago, Illinois, Ellen Hoskins of St. Louis, Missouri, Josephine Cobbs and husband Freddie of Little Rock, Arkansas, Glean Ferrell and husband Jessie of Forrest City, Arkansas; and a host of nieces, nephews, family members and friends who love Vester and will miss him always.
